The device reports precise asset location at regular intervals — on trips, dormant in yards, and when an asset begins or ends a move. Global LTE falls back to multi-band 3G and 2G where 4G isn't available, with optional satellite backup for added reliability.

Installs easily and quickly on all types of transportation assets, including those with narrow vertical or horizontal corrugations. VIACHAIN's Field Support Tool mobile app simplifies device and sensor configuration, and facilitates troubleshooting in the field.
Advanced solar technology
A solar panel leverages the latest technology for long-lasting battery life and fast charging. Shipped fully charged, the GT 1220 holds its charge for at least 6 months before installation, and in limited light still delivers multiple messages per hour without failure.
